Want to tour Boston’s biggest art gallery?

Dennis Miller, professor of music in the College of Arts, Media and Design, was one of several Boston-area artists commissioned to create a new work for display on the new marquee outside the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The 80-foot-tall marquee offers more than 3,000 square feet of display area on 7 screens and is viewed by more than 100,000 pedestrians and motorists from 7:00 am to 10:00 PM daily. The marquee is visible for half a mile in many directions and is seen by traffic on Summer, D, and Congress Streets as well as from the surrounding hotels, office buildings and the Seaport World Trade Center.

“Art on the Marquee” will premier on Thursday, February 23.
