Director Dan Adams’s Design Firm Featured in Globe for Work on Charlesgate Greenway Redesign

Associate Professor Dan Adams, School of Architecture Director, was featured in an editorial in Sunday’s Boston Globe that focused on the Charlesgate Greenway re-design project his firm, Landing Studio, is leading. The project aims to restore ecological infrastructure performance, urban connections, and public access recreation to the terminus of the Emerald Necklace. Read more about it here.

As the Globe article describes, “architects Marie Law Adams and Dan Adams of the Landing Studio in Somerville, who have developed an enticing set of plans for the area, liken it to urban acupuncture — carefully coordinated adjustments that can tie the landscape beneath the overpass together and, at the same time, restore plant life that will naturally filter the runoff fouling the Muddy River.”
