Zagreb’s Central Urbanscape / Helena Njiric, HPNJ+, and Ivan Rupnik

Helena Paver Njiric, principal of hpnj+ , Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and an Affiliated Professor at the KTH Stockholm, and Ivan Rupnik, Assistant Professor at NU School of Architecture, will discuss their collaborative work on Zagreb’s Central Urbanscape, a public space knitting together one of the Croatian capitals most complex districts and defining an entry into the city. Work on this project, which consists of a number of pedestrian tunnels, landscaping and a series of multi-media environments that combine water, light and sound, began in 2009, with the first phase completed this year.
