It’s Hard to Argue With a Computer: Investigating Psychotherapists’ Attitudes Towards Automated Evaluation By Professor Tad Hirsch

Professor Tad Hirsch presented a paper titled “It’s Hard to Argue With a Computer: Investigating Psychotherapists’ Attitudes Towards Automated Evaluation” at the 2018 ACM Conference on Designing Interactive Systems (DIS’18) in Hong Kong. Hirsch’s paper reported on ongoing research that uses machine learning algorithms to improve the quality of mental health care and addiction counseling. While at DIS, he was also an invited panelist in a lively and well-attended session titled “Designing for Social Change.”
