Mitch Weiss is a visual artist with a focus on fine art and commercial photography and a 2009 graduate of Art from Northeastern University. His artwork resides in private collections around the globe and he photographs regularly on commission for patrons, national advertising campaigns, and magazines. Specializing in high-end portraiture, Weiss has captured some of the most iconic faces in the world today, from Lady Gaga to Annie Leibovitz. Mitch is currently the Artist in Residence for CAMD’s Northeastern Center for the Arts and held a gallery viewing this past November at Northeastern’s Gallery 360 of his series Sister Cities which is currently on display at Boston City Hall and was the last exhibit to hang in Mayor Menino’s Office. We look forward to Mitch’s visit to campus where he will share his expertise with students majoring or interested in photography, art, and design.
Beyond CAMD presentations are open to all students and faculty.
