This Thursday, from 6:00-8:00pm in 97 Cargill, Scout, CAMD’s student-led design studio, is having their data visualization event with Deloitte InsightStudio!
Students will learn from Deloitte how to combine principles of design thinking, data science, and big data to reveal insights and create impactful analytics-driven products. They’ll then have the opportunity to put Deloitte’s teachings into practice by collaborating in teams on Deloitte’s Design Jam case study.
Scout was created three years ago by design students to help foster the design community here at Northeastern. Along with working on real client projects ranging from branding to web design & development, user experience design, and packaging, they also put on a free event series of design related topics and offer a casual open studio time called “Club Scout” every Tuesday from 5-7pm in Ryder 307 where you can collaborate, crit work, or just hang out.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a program that can help you build your portfolio, connect with other passionate design students, and be a part of the greater design community at Northeastern.
