Food for Thought: A Faculty Lunchtime Colloquium

Food for Thought is a lunch & discussion series featuring the critical creative practices within the College of Arts, Media and Design. Our faculty, by probing at the frontiers of an array of creative disciplines, are committed to models of inquiry that emphasize both ‘thinking as making’ and ‘making as thinking.’ Critical creative practice refers to a constellation of contemporary cultural forms encompassing art, media, design, and architecture. This critical creative practice operates at the intersections (and interstices) of multiple discourses and methodologies in order to develop new tools for shaping public experience and the cultural sphere. Faculty curators of this series have been: Brooke Foucault Welles, Matthew McDonald, John Wihbey, Meryl Alper and Cammy Brothers.
