Ben Bradlee, Jr., veteran investigative reporter and editor with the Boston Globe, chronicles the career and personal life of Boston Red Sox great Ted Williams in his book, “The Kid, The Immortal Life of Ted Williams.” The book received the “2013 Cerulli Award for Excellence in Sports Writing/Biography” from PEN New England. Bradlee will talk about William’s fascinating life from his many years with the Red Sox, his heroic military career, his troubled private life to the family feud following his death in 2002.
