Drugs! Pirates! Murder! with Jeff Howe

Please join us for a discussion about the renaissance of long form journalism online and the publication of Prof Howe’s recent article Murder on the Mekong on The Atavist.

Assistant professor Jeff Howe teaches multimedia journalism in the School of Journalism. Prof Howe was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and he is a contributing editor at Wired magazine. Howe previously was a senior editor at Inside.com and a writer at the Village Voice and in 2008 he published the book, “Crowdsourcing: How the Power of Crowds is Driving the Future of Business”, coining the term “crowdsourcing”. He has also written for U.S. News & World Report, The Washington Post and Mother Jones.
