Interventions is a conference that examines the intentions and consequences of design that alters large-scale behaviors, experiences, and values. This conference, hosted by SCOUT, Northeastern’s Student-led design studio, strives to bring together interdisciplinary students and professionals to better understand the world and creatives’ impact upon it. In a rapidly changing world, when it comes to changes in technology, designers are an invaluable catalyst. This student-led conference hopes to inspire both students and professionals to closely examine their intentions, and the impact they will have on the road to help design a better future.
SCOUT’s Mission is to foster the Design Community at Northeastern University by working on real projects with real clients, hosting a bi-weekly event series, and providing design solutions for the Boston community in partnership with Northeastern’s Service Learning Center, and support Northeastern’s College of Arts, Media, + Design community through open studio hours.
