Learning by Design: Tracing the influence of the kindergarten movement on art,
architecture and design.
The exhibition Learning by Design traces the influence that the Kindergarten movement, the revolutionary educational system developed by Friedrich Frobel, had on culture and the impact it had in laying the grounds for modernist art, architecture and design. Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright and Buckminster Fuller are all documented attendees of kindergarten.
