Movement III : the SOUND [of hope extending] performance

Premier of Movement III : the SOUND [of hope extending] a site-responsive performance created for a public library created by artist and composer Beau Kenyon.
Beau Kenyon has transformed audio recordings of newly immigrated high school students into compositions, that will accompany dancers wearing custom designed costumes that bring the voices of Boston’s youth out into public space. This performance was created through a Creative City grant from NEFA, a grant that enables artists to create new projects for the public realm through civic engagement with residents of Boston. Beau Kenyon is a 2018-19 artist in residence with the Northeastern Center for the Arts.
