As part of their capstone projects, media and screen studies and film students Lauren Walsh ’23, AJ Sacknowitz ’23, and Jack Fuchs ’23 have organized the North by Northeastern Film Festival to create a platform for all creators in the Northeastern community to share their work on a broad scale. Taking place March 24-26 and featuring films by CAMD students, alumni and faculty, the festival seeks to make the works of these emerging creators accessible to students and residents in the local Boston area.
The weekend kicks off with a screening of the feature length sci-fi comedy film “Discontinued” by Trevor Peckham ’11, accompanied by free good from local Italian restaurant Mida. Other events include panels with filmmakers and genre showcases.
Tickets are free and are first come first serve. For more info, visit https://www.nxneu.com/home.
