In a hands-on workshop, artist Cat Mazza will introduce her web application knitPro, which translates digital images into needlecraft grid patterns.

Mazza will show examples of how it has been used globally by craft hobbyists, mobilizing participants in various initiatives including the anti-sweatshop quilt the Nike Blanket Petition, the pro-peace campaign Stitch for Senate and the COVID-19 lock-down project Pandemic Views, which is currently on view at Northeastern Crossing.

Participants can learn how to use knitPro and get started on a small cross-stitch project.

This event is co-sponsored by the Office of City and Community Engagement.
