Join us for a screening of the documentary Transatlantic Slavery: Reimaging the Past, Changing the Future and a panel discussion afterward. The film and panel are joint productions with NU alum Mike Krentzman, president of Red Summit Productions, NYC.

Speakers include:

  • Uzoma Eze, international attorney, focuses on reconnecting Africa with the global African diaspora.
  • Joyce Hope Scott, former Fullbright scholar, is a professor of African American & Black Diaspora Studies at Boston University.
  • Dr. Barbara Ward is a historical preservationist and a leading expert on New England slavery.
  • Prof. Bill Lancaster, the event moderator, will present a documentary short about slavery filmed in Ghana last May.
  • Mike Krentzman is an NU alum and president of Red Summit Productions, NYC.
