Ed Andrews

Associate Professor, Interim Department Chair

Ed Andrews is known for his site-specific sculptures, which range from permanent public work to temporary installations. His sculptures are responsive and usually incorporate light and movement. Andrews has exhibited nationally and his work is in public and private collections. His awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ford Foundation, and from regional and state Arts Commissions. In recent work, Andrews has created sculptures that are illuminated internally by LEDs that are programmed to respond to wind speed and temperature change.
