Erica Terpening-Romeo

Director for THORNBROOKE

Erica Terpening-Romeo is a director, writer, actor, and educator based in Western Massachusetts. She holds a Master’s of Fine Arts in Directing from Boston University, and currently runs Hilltown Shakespeare Anonymous in her local community. She is the co-founder and co-Artistic Director of Anon It Moves Theatre, a non-traditional Shakespeare company in Portland, OR ; co-founder of Singing House Productions in Lafayette, Colorado; and the former Managing Director of the off-Broadway company The Strain Theatre in New York City. In addition to several of Shakespeare’s plays, her directing credits include new works such as Incels and Other Myths by Ally Sass,  Lorena: A Tabloid Epic by Eliana Pipes, and Thornbrooke’s Measure for Measure, a devised adaptation.
