Ms. Picillo is an actor, director, producer, vocalist, choreographer and voice-over talent in both the New England and New York area. Most recently, she was a speech consultant for Jigsaw Productions documentary, The Last Gladiators. In 2011, she was also a featured player in the short film Brothers and she provided the voice-over narration for the Heartbeet-Lifesharing Community’s promotional documentary.

Throughout the fall and spring semesters, Ms. Picillo provides workshops in presentation skills for the civil engineering students here at Northeastern’s College of Engineering. She has worked with Sojourns Productions in the historical documentary, Phillis Wheatley: make her black and bid her sing and she continues to create character voices for the Curious George Interactive CD-Rom series.

Ms. Picillo has been the Director of Drama at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree where she has directed more than 25 works, many of which have been original scripts. She continues to lecture and perform in the art of oral interpretation and platform art and performs as the lead vocalist for the band, Susan E. and Bluesliner. Ms. Picillo also works with numerous private clients as both a voice and speech coach. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA, the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, the National Communication Association and the Northeast Storytellers.
