The Physical Computing Lab offers IDEs, microcontrollers, and circuit prototyping tools and components, including a wide array of input and output devices. The lab also includes basic tools for fabrication and testing, and soldering workstations for perfboard and PCB fabrication.
Applications
Applications and current work include investigations into human-computer interaction- particularly development of UIs- graphic, interactive, auditory, and tangible. Other areas of interest include integration of physical data in biological and environmental applications, and material explorations connected to digital fabrication processes and integration of innovative materials.
