Ruggles CNC Lab

The CNC Lab, located in Ruggles, is one component of the Ruggles Makerspaces, a collection of fabrication spaces equipped with the essential tools to support the School of Architecture studio and curriculum.

The Ruggles CNC Lab is a space primarily focused on supporting the operation of CAMD’s full-size CNC Router. Able to quickly and precisely carve up full-size sheets of plywood, CAMD’s recently-installed Techno HDS CNC router is a sophisticated and versatile tool that unlocks student creativity. The CNC Lab also features some stationary and handheld woodworking power tools to support router operations and other woodwork taking place in the Ruggles Architecture Studio.
