Hollywood Orchestration: Master Class

Attend a master class with Dr. Norman Ludwin, Los Angeles area orchestrator and author. Norman’s skills encompass a wide range of abilities, from session player and concert bassist to orchestrator for major motion pictures. He holds a D.M.A. in Composition and is an instructor in the UCLA Extension Film Music Department.

Norman will examine in detail three selections by Williams: Star Wars, Jaws, and Born on the Fourth of July. Norman will also take us though a journey of the daily working life of a Hollywood orchestrator having recently worked on the films: Inside OutJurassic World, and Star Trek: Into Darkness.
