AI video tutorial focuses on public-sector needs

The Burnes Center for Social Change, directed by Communication Studies professor Beth Noveck, today released  “Unlocking the Power of Generative AI,” a free training video to help public professionals responsibly use Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Bing, and Bard, to work more efficiently and better engage with their constituents.

The video is narrated using “synthetic media,” an AI system that generates video. The presenter is an avatar based on a real human. The 13-minute video is part of the Center’s InnovateUS program, which over’s free at-your-own pace courses as well as weekly workshops on innovation skills for the public sector.

The video was featured in the Government Technology, a tech news publication from the media and research company e.Republic.
