Journalism

School of Journalism Professor Dan Kennedy helped facilitate the donation of The Phoenix’s complete archives to the Northeastern University library by Stephen Mindich, the owner and publisher of the alternative newspaper. Kennedy worked for The Phoenix from 1991 until 2005. While working primarily as the newspaper’s media columnist he won the 2001 Rowse Award and the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies’ 1999 award for media reporting.
