Five CAMD faculty are among the world’s most-cited researchers, according to World’s Top database created and recently updated by Stanford University. Separate data are shown for career-long and, separately, for single recent year impact, and scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification.
The following CAMD faculty are ranked among the top 2% of scientists in career citations:
Matthew Nisbet, Professor of Communication Studies with joint appointments in the School of Public Policy & Urban Affairs and College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Hillary Chute, Distinguished Professor of Art + Design with a joint appointment in the Department of English.
Gavin Shatkin, Professor of Architecture with a joint appointment in the School of Public Policy & Urban Affairs
The following CAMD faculty are ranked among the top 2% of scientists in citations for 2022:
Dakuo Wang, Associate Professor of Art + Design with a joint appointment in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences
Don Robinaugh, Assistant Professor of Art + Design with a joint appointment in the Department of Applied Psychology.
“It’s an exciting time to be supporting research in CAMD,” says Associate Director of Research Development Liz Allen. “In addition to the honor of seeing several of our faculty recognized as top cited scholars in their fields, we’re home to an amazing community of interdisciplinary scholars,” she notes. “For many CAMD faculty working at the intersections of disciplines, their research, innovation, and creative contributions are by nature challenging to quantify, but are equally inspiring examples of academic excellence.
