Ainsley MacMillan discovered her passion for healthcare during her first co-op with NxStage Medical, Inc., a leading medical technology company located in Lawrence, Massachusetts that develops products for the treatment of kidney disease. After working on the company’s data metrics and target market analyses, she also realized that a career in marketing wasn’t quite the right fit for her.

So for her second co-op, she scored a position as a sales associate for Bicon, LLC in Boston. There, Ainsley found herself engaging with doctors and dental professionals around the world to determine which Bicon dental implants and technical procedures best suited their needs. In addition to fulfilling daily sales orders, she also traveled nationwide to tradeshows and lectures promoting the Bicon System and chasing new sales leads.

A two-time captain of Northeastern’s nationally ranked women’s ice hockey team, Ainsley also takes great pride in the university’s co-op program.
