On Thursday, May 4th, 2017 graduates from all School of Architecture programs convened in the Ruggles Architecture Studio for an end of the year exhibition and reception. Students had the opportunity to display posters and models of their final projects. Graduates included students in our Bachelor’s programs in Architecture and in Landscape Architecture, as well as the first graduating class from our BS in Architectural Studies program. Graduate students from both the Master of Architecture program and the MDES in Sustainable Urban Environments were in attendance.

The event offered students the opportunity to invite their families into the studio and to view the work they have been doing this year. The graduating seniors showed work from their capstone course, Comprehensive Design, for which they designed a building that has the flexibility to adapt to future needs and conditions. Graduate students displayed the projects that were the culmination of a year-long thesis and design studio.

The School of Architecture congratulates all the graduates from the Class of 2017 and we look forward to seeing those of you who are returning to our grad programs! We hope you will all keep in touch and let us know where your career paths take you.
