Departments In This Story

Theatre

Shakespeare in Love wowed movie audiences in 1998 and won seven Academy Awards, and still the material seems more fitting to the theatre. This fictionalized journey through Shakespeare’s love and life is coming to the stage in Boston this season, helmed by none other than Theatre Department Chair Scott Edmiston, and it includes Assistant Teaching Professor Jesse Hinson in the cast. The play runs January 12 – February 10 at Speakeasy Stage Company. You can read an interview with Professor Edmiston and get tickets at speakeasystage.com.
