Solar Decathlon is an international collegiate competition that invites students to design a net-zero energy building to be evaluated in ten contests. The Northeastern team is now a finalist in the mixed-use multi-family division of the 2021 Design Challenge! During weekly meetings, the team works in six subgroups [architecture (ARCH), business consulting (BC), computer systems (CS), landscape (LS), MEP & energy systems (MEP), and structural systems (SS)] to plan an integrated building design for this 5-story project.
