Dec 6 Harp Recital- Angelica & BPS

Violinist Cori Bodley, a 2014 Master of Music Industry Leadership grad, will be performing in a Harp Recital on Dec 6th, 7:30pm, at the John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute. Performing the harp recital will be Angelica Hairston, a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellow. The concert also features Jasmine Robinson, Elizabeth Showalter, and musicians from the Boston Public Schools. 

In partnership with the Boston Public Schools, the recital is free and guests are asked to bring a school supply donation going towards BPS students.

Cori Amanda Bodley is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has resided in Boston since 2013. She holds a Bachelors degree in Violin Performance and Music Industry Studies from Loyola University of New Orleans. While at Loyola, she was a member of both the Loyola Chamber and Symphony Orchestras. She studied under he tutelage of Amy Thaiville and Rachel Jordan. In 2014, she received a Master’s degree in Music Industry Leadership from Northeastern University where she was also a recipient of the Martin Luther King Graduate Fellow. Cori is currently the Outreach and Communications Manager at GRLZradio, a local nonprofit radio station for teen girls under the auspices of St. Mary’s Center.
