What’s your favorite part about working with students?
I enjoy learning what students hope to accomplish academically, professionally, and personally during their time at Northeastern. It’s fun to work collaboratively with students on an academic plan that will enable them to achieve these goals and ensure their success upon graduation.
What resources are you most excited to share with students?
The CAMD Peer Mentoring program, which places student mentors in each first year experience seminar, is a great way for new students to connect socially and academically at Northeastern. This program provides important information about curricula and policies, as well as fun activities that help students acclimate to life in Boston.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Be open to new experiences and don’t be afraid to try something out of your comfort zone! This is your chance to grow as an individual and Northeastern offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities and experiential learning opportunities. Also, don’t be shy about seeking help – especially from your advisor!
