What’s your favorite part about working with students?

My favorite part of working with students ARE the students! I love talking with them about their backgrounds and experiences. Northeastern students come from so many different walks of life, it’s great to hear their stories.

What resources are you most excited to share with students?

Northeastern has so many resources to offer students, it can be hard to choose. Within our college we have a strong Peer Mentor Program that all new students should surely take advantage of.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

I advise new students to be flexible and get as much out of college as possible. Real (adult) life isn’t going anywhere, why rush! There are so many opportunities for them to engage with campus and beyond it would be a shame to come in, do four years, and leave without thoroughly exploring co-op possibilities or study abroad options.

The College of Arts, Media and Design has a number of very talented staff who are all here to help you. Meet some of our amazing advisors, staff members, and coordinators in our new series of profiles. Make sure to reach out to them with any questions you may have!
