New Repertory Theatre’s production of Man of La Mancha features an incredible mix of artists with Northeastern connections.  Associate Professor Antonio Ocampo-Guzman and Teaching Professor Frances Nelson McSherry have worked together as Director and Costume Designer many times at Northeastern, and their collaboration continues on this show.  The production stars Maurice Emmanuel Parent, who teaches many performance courses at Northeastern, performing in the leading role, along with alumnus Michael Levesque as Don Quixote’s trusty sidekick, Sancho Panza.  Anna Jekel, a current student who is designing the costumes for Northeastern’s spring production of HAIR, is working on costumes for this show as well.  The Boston Globe published a story about this production today, which can be found here.

You can’t watch much theatre in Boston without seeing someone from Northeastern these days.  In fact, the second half of that same story focuses on the production of Hold These Truths at Lyric Stage Company, where you can see faculty member Samantha Richert performing.
