To meet the challenges faced by communications professionals who must be both persuasive and legally savvy in the global, digital age, Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design (CAMD) and School of Law are launching a one-of-a-kind graduate program in Media Advocacy. The Master of Science curriculum will capitalize on University strengths by drawing upon faculty from communications, journalism, law and other departments to provide an integrated approach to strategic advocacy skills essential to communications, nonprofit and government affairs professionals. The program will prepare graduates to take the lead in advancing policy changes through analysis and data, and in promoting the goals of a wide variety of groups — from advocacy and lobbying organizations, trade and labor groups, and nonprofit entities to private sector strategic communication and government affairs departments.
