Button TextFans of  the hit Netflix show Stranger Things will soon get a never-before-seen perspective in a new game from VR storytelling studio Tender Claws co-directed by Samantha Gorman, a professor in the department of Art + Design.

Coming to major VR platforms Winter 2023, the game dives into the Stranger Things universe through the studio’s approach to nested worlds and immersive dreamscapes. Explore the transformation of a villain as you play as Vecna, invading minds and conjuring nightmares in your quest to enact revenge on Eleven and Hawkins.

In a joint statement, Gorman and co-director Danny Cannizzaro shared:

“We are awed that we get to live within the Stranger Things universe and dive into the rich inner worlds of its characters through Tender Claws’ unique approach to nested worlds and immersive dreamscapes. As fans, we want this game to be very special and we are energized by the support and enthusiasm we’ve received from Netflix and the Stranger Things creative team.”
