Assistant Professor John Wihbey’s feature story on two researchers who are looking at how social networking, the offline version, can affect human behavior. Working in Honduras, the pair, James Fowler, a political scientist and Nicholas Christakis, a physican-sociologists, hope to learn how social networking can be used in positive ways to improve global health. Wihbey’s article, “Does the secret to social networking lie in the remote jungle?” appeared in the “Ideas”section of The Boston Globe on October 4.
