Professor Dennis H. Miller won the “Best Picture of the Month” award for November 2015 on the prestigious Imaging Resource website, for his photograph Bull Racer_2. Production editor Dave Pardue wrote “The only gripe we have with our November Photo of the Day award-winning image from photographer Dennis Miller is that we don’t have a larger resolution file of the image to print for our office wall! In a very rare happenstance this image received first place votes from all five of our esteemed judges this month. A slam dunk!”

In other news, Miller will present a paper entitled Incorporating fluid dynamics and particle systems into mixed-media artworks at the 5th Biennial Symposium for Arts and Technology, “Open All Ports,” which will be held at Connecticut College from February 25-27. In addition, his work point.line.plane: 3 Studies After Kandinsky will be screened as part of the symposium.
