Journalism

Journalism Professor Alan Schroeder said he hopes CNN calls Donald Trumps bluff. Trump threatened to pull out of the December 15 presidential debate unless CNN pays him $5 million. Schroeder was quoted in The Washington Post article, “Donald Trump wants $5 million for a debate appearance. That’s ridiculous,” written by Callum Borchers. Borchers received his master’s degree from the School of Journalism in 2012. He recently left The Boston Globe to join The Washington Post to cover politics and the media.
