The minor offers students tools and methods for studying, analyzing, and critically reflecting upon their everyday engagements with digital forms of community and expression. Courses in the minor cover areas of digital communication such as social media, networks and organizing, internet policy and cybersecurity, online communities and collaboration, and children’s development and new media.
