Playwriting, Minor

This four course minor is designed for students with an interest in dramatic writing and storytelling for stage and screen. Connecting the study of significant plays and genres of drama with creative writing, you may select a personalized path of study to explore a range of diverse and innovative plays, playwrights, dramatic theories, forms, and movements.

The Playwriting Minor combines courses from the Department of Theatre with additional choices from English, Communication Studies, and Media and Screen Studies. One course may double count with a theatre major.
