Theatre, Minor

Theatre minors select a path that uniquely matches their interests in areas such as acting, stage design, technical production, and dramatic literature, whether for career exploration or creative expression.

A minor in theatre gives students a practical foundation in all aspects of the theatre including performance, production, design, dramaturgy, and the history of the theatre. Minors are active participants in department productions who develop the foundational techniques and collaborative skills to make imaginative, innovative theatre. The minor offers students flexible choices among several theatre courses.
