UseUp is a home food management app that keeps track of all the food items you have in your pantry, fridge and freezer. It generates recipes for you prompting you to be more efficient and minimize your food waste by encouraging you to cook using ingredients you already have at home. UseUp also helps the user meal plan by letting them add meals to their plan from recipes, leftovers and take out. The app also creates a grocery list for the user based on ingredients that are about to finish, ingredients they need for recipes they wish to make and items based on the users purchasing behavior.
With this app in your palms, you would have to try extra hard in order for your groceries to go bad, not the other way around.
