Production Spaces

We operate two main performance spaces, the Studio Theatre in Curry Student Center and the Ryder Theatre Lab.  Performance courses are also held in our Ryder Acting Studio; Acting for the Camera courses are held in the CAMD Media Studios.  Working with Costume Shop Supervisor Margaret Koerber and Technical Director Mätthew Williams, students construct costumes and scenery in our on campus Production Shops.

The Studio Theatre provides an intimate, flexible theatre experience for fully designed productions.  You’ll be amazed how faculty, student, and professional guest designers completely transform the space with each production.  Most productions play for two weeks – 48 performances a year. Most performances are sold-out.

The Studio Theatre is reserved for Department of Theatre productions, rehearsals and classes, as well as CAMD special events and programs. It is not available for outside rental.
