The College of Arts, Media and Design is thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Churchill, Director of User Experience at Google, will be visiting CAMD as Dean’s Distinguished Lecturer on Thursday, March 28. Please join The College of Arts, Media and Design and The Khoury College of Computer Science for a public lecture and reception from 4:30-6:00 pm at EXP.

Dr. Elizabeth Churchill is Senior Director of User Experience at Google. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science in Knowledge Based Systems from the University of Sussex. She is an applied social scientist, an interactive technology designer, and a social communications researcher. She has worked in academia and in industry in various roles–as an individual contributor, in management, and in a consultancy capacity. She has built research teams at Google, eBay, Yahoo, PARC and FujiXerox. She has held various leadership positions at the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), including Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, and Co-Editor in Chief of Interactions Magazine.
