In order to be eligible to apply for the PlusOne pathway, you must have a minimum overall 3.000 GPA and have at least 64 semester-hours of earned or earned and in-progress credits.

Work with your primary academic advisor to determine if the PlusOne pathway will fit within your undergraduate program requirements and reach out to the graduate program coordinator to learn more about your program of interest.

Once you have completed the steps above, you can submit the PlusOne Inquiry Form to initiate the application process. After submitting the inquiry form, you will receive an email with the link to the PlusOne pathway application form.

Within the online application, you will be prompted to upload the following materials:

• Plan of Study indicating how the PlusOne courses will fit within your remaining undergraduate semesters
• Unofficial copy of your Northeastern transcript
• Resume
• Personal statement detailing your interest in the CAMD graduate program. Please use your statement as an opportunity to explain your goals and how the program will help you achieve them. Personal statements are generally 500–1000 words.
• Contact information for three academic or professional references*

Applicants for the MS in Experience Design, MS in Information Design and Data Visualization and MS in Game Science and Design programs may also be asked to submit work samples/portfolio materials.

Please note that the application fee and standardized testing are not required.

*Letters of recommendation are waived for applicants with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.300 and above.

If your home college is not CAMD, please also complete Parts 1 and 2 of the PlusOne Transition to Master’s form with your primary academic advisor and email the signed form to Cathy Bright, Associate Director of Graduate Operations, at [email protected].

If the PlusOne pathway is not right for you, consider applying to begin a CAMD graduate program upon the completion of your undergraduate degree and take advantage of the Double Husky Scholarship.

Please note that students entering a CAMD graduate program via the PlusOne pathway are not eligible for the Double Husky Scholarship.
