Health Campaign Message Design
Team #NUSleeps also completed three phases of research focus groups, online surveys, and message testing experiments to tackle sleep deprivation on Northeasterns campus and design the accompanying message. They were inspired by a popular meme about college life and the inability to have good grades, asocial life, and sleep all at the same time. Results from their message testing experiment showed that students were highly attentive to and accepting of the familiar, but more confidence-building, message. The backside also capitalized on research in psychology documenting the benefits of communicating skills and quick tips to initiate behavior change.
