Game Science and Design Professor Alexandra To has been honored with the National Science Foundation’s prestigious CAREER Award. This recognition highlights her groundbreaking research at the intersection of game design and critical race theory. Her work pushes the boundaries of how race is represented in games, and the award will further empower her to develop innovative tools and frameworks that challenge the industry’s conventions. It is paving the way for a more inclusive and critically engaged future in game design.
