Professors Alexandra To, Giovanni Troiano, and Casper Harteveld worked with PhD student in Interdisciplinary Design and Media Jailyn Zabala on studying queerness in video games like The Sims. The team was interested not just in games showing queerness through queer characters but also on “queer mechanics.” Read more about their research here.
