The Princeton Review today announced its 2024 rankings for Top Game Design Programs, surveying 150 institutions and ranking the best undergraduate and grad schools for game design majors. Northeastern is ranked in the top ten for both undergraduate and graduate programs in Game Design, at tenth among undergraduate programs and ninth among graduate programs.

The selection and ranking of schools was based on criteria that broadly covered the quality of the faculty, facilities and technology. The Princeton Review also factored in data it collected from the schools on their curriculum and career services.

A variety of games programs are offered at the College of Arts, Media and Design at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Learn more about Games at Northeastern here.

Earlier this year, The Animation Career Review also ranked Northeastern second in Massachusetts and thirteenth on the East Coast in its lists of Top Animation School Programs. Students can pursue a BFA in Game Art and Animation at the College of Arts, Media and Design.
