The Northeastern University community mourns the loss of author, journalist, renowned jazz critic and alumnus Nat Hentoff. Known for being blunt, unapologetic and undeniably passionate, Hentoff led a remarkable career spanning more than 60 years. His work was featured in many of the nation’s leading news sources, including extended tenures at the New Yorker, the Washington Post, and the Village Voice.
