Angie Grau

Angie Grau joins the Communication Studies Department with administrative experience from a variety of fields including market research, finance, and higher education healthcare. Her most recent position at the Harvard University Center for Wellness & Health Promotion instilled a strong desire to prioritize humanity in the workplace and to ensure that her colleagues are taking care of themselves so that they thrive in every aspect of their lives. She is also a professional opera singer and private lesson instructor. Holding degrees in Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and Vocal performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, she has been teaching and performing for over 10 years. She is very active as a choral singer, soloist, and recitalist throughout the Boston area, singing with the Cantata Singers, Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, Cambridge Chamber Ensemble, and producing her own recitals. Angie loves that a plethora of skills she’s learned through music have helped her in her administrative career. When she is not working, teaching, practicing, or attending rehearsals/performances, she loves to powerlift, play video games, and travel with her partner, Chris and their dog, Oliver.
